(Bandar Seri Begawan, 9th) Professor Zhang Zhenjiang’s team from the Institute of International Relations / Overseas Chinese Studies Institute of Jinan University, comprising five members, will visit the Brunei Fuzhou Shiyi Association at 3 pm on January 13, 2026.
The purpose of this visit is to conduct academic exchanges and to learn about the association’s perspectives on local Chinese affairs and the social environment.
This delegation has been invited by the Brunei-China Friendship Association and will visit Brunei from January 12 to 16, 2026, for academic exchange and collaborative research.
The team’s visit aims to conduct field research on the history and current situation of overseas Chinese in Brunei, gain a deeper understanding of the development and living conditions of the local Chinese community, and promote knowledge sharing and research cooperation between academic institutions in China and Brunei in related fields.
