Formerly known as Korea's “Drama Queen,” Hwang Jung-eum recently endured a series of hardships, from marital betrayal to embezzling company funds amounting to 4.3 billion KRW (about 1.242 million MYR). She was given a first-instance sentence of 2 years in prison with a 4-year probation and consequently disappeared from the spotlight. Now, Hwang Jung-eum has officially made a comeback through her YouTube channel. From the video, it’s obvious her face is noticeably rounder and her complexion darker.
For her return, Hwang Jung-eum appeared without heavy makeup, instead opting for a very simple and natural look. Her once-fair skin is now visibly tanned. However, she seems to be in a very healthy state overall, and her face appears fuller. She couldn't help but joke: “I'm looking more and more like my son,” making a lot of her fans laugh. As Hwang Jung-eum makes her comeback on YouTube, she stated that she will examine herself with a greater sense of responsibility and, moving forward, will learn to live and reflect at the same time. She plans to document her daily life.
