Bandar Seri Begawan, 10th -- The Brunei Tourism Bureau awarded certificates to the first batch of 10 graduates from the Basic Bird Watching Professional Guide Course. A certificate awarding ceremony was held at the bureau, officiated by the Minister of Primary Resources and Tourism, Dato Abdul Manaf.
The Basic Bird Watching Professional Guide Course took place from November 4th to 13th and was the first of its kind, organized by the Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism Development in collaboration with Laksamana College of Business (LCB), the designated institution for the course.
LCB Director of Teaching and Operations, Bogumiła Mischke, congratulated the first batch of 10 graduates from the Basic Bird Watching Professional Guide Course.

The course covers both theoretical and practical techniques, including how to lead groups in bird-rich areas, use scopes, field guides, binoculars, and bird watching apps to discover and identify various birds, and how to bird-watch in a responsible and ethical manner to minimize disturbance to birds and their habitats.
