【Los Angeles Wildfire】John Woo's Family Urgently Evacuates, Paris Hilton's Mansion Reduced to Door Frame

The scope of the California Los Angeles wildfires has expanded, with many Hollywood stars' mansions destroyed. International director John Woo and his family urgently evacuated by car on the evening of the 7th. His wife, Ni Chunlong, stated, “We are all safe,” but they are still unable to ascertain the current state of their residence.

John Woo, Ni Chunlong, and their family dog were evacuated by their daughter Wu Feixia, who drove them to safety. Initially, they left in such a hurry that they even forgot to take Wu's favorite phonograph, a gift from Wu Feixia. They first sought refuge at Ni Chunlong’s elder sister's home and are currently staying at their eldest daughter Wu Shangfang's house.

The Woo family initially did not realize how dangerous it was and finished their dinner leisurely before packing to leave. However, later that evening, they received numerous concerned phone calls. As of now, they are still unclear about the state of their house, and for safety reasons, they are temporarily staying at Wu Shangfang’s home. Since security personnel have not given clearance to return home, the Woo family is unsure when they can go back.

Witnessing “Heartbreaking Beyond Description”
Paris Hilton's beachfront villa completely destroyed.
Socialite Paris Hilton’s beachfront villa, worth approximately 8.4 million USD (about 37.75 million MYR), also succumbed to the raging flames. She has now arrived in Malibu and posted the latest footage of her house; the once luxurious mansion now only has the door frame remaining somewhat intact, while everything else has been consumed by fire.

Paris Hilton posted a video on IG showing that while the original door frame and wall are still there, moving inward reveals no trace of what was once a "home." All around are ruins and thoroughly charred remains, with several clusters of smoldering embers still releasing black smoke.

Seeing the devastation of her residence firsthand, Paris is in disbelief, stating, “Standing in front of what used to be our home, my heart is broken beyond description.” She expressed that the house was more than just a place to live; every corner was filled with family memories and was even where her child took their first steps. Now, it is all reduced to ashes. As she made her way to Malibu, she realized the terrifying destructive power of the wildfire, which left not only her but many people with nothing. Besides buildings, everything including photos, records, and all memories were lost.
