Lianzhong·MYY 3x3 Basketball Cup and Parent-Child Doubles Tournament – Registration Still Open, Don’t Miss Out

(Miri, 26th) Registration for the “2025 Lianzhong·MYY 3x3 Basketball Cup and Parent-Child Doubles Tournament” is in full swing! The event is open to all youths aged 21 and below, as well as parent-child teams. Everyone is encouraged to sign up enthusiastically.

To express gratitude for MYY Community Mall’s strong support of this event and the development of youth sports, Lian Lyu High School basketball team managers Ms. Zhao Shijin and Mr. Lin Siren, together with coach Mr. Lin Xianjun, made a special trip today (25th) to the Lutong (罗东) MYY Mall Hornbill Sports court to personally present a certificate of appreciation and event banner to MYY Community Mall representative Mr. Guo Yien and Ms. Hou Wenshi, in recognition of their generous support.

The “2025 Lianzhong·MYY 3x3 Basketball Cup and Parent-Child Doubles Tournament” will take place grandly from December 20th to 21st, 2025, at the MYY Community Mall·Hornbill Sports court. The event aims to promote youth basketball development, enhance parent-child interaction, and build a platform for sustained school-community connection. The significance lies not only in the competition, but in extending the overall educational value.
This event receives strong support from MYY Community Mall’s Mr. Guo Yien. Besides offering a high-quality competition venue free of charge, he additionally sponsored RM1000 to the Lianzhong basketball team as funding for the event and team development, fully demonstrating the enterprise’s commitment to youth sports and local education.
Mr. Guo Yien, head of MYY Mall, stated that the MYY community has always actively promoted community and parent-child activities. This cooperation with Lian Lyu High School is meant to allow more parents and students to interact, exercise, and grow together on the same platform, creating a more meaningful urban community culture. Looking ahead, he wishes to cooperate with more educational institutions so the community can also take on educational responsibility and become a part of education.

Principal Jiang Peijuan of Lian Lyu High School stated that this cooperation is more than just support for a sports event; it is an important initiative for community partners to jointly promote youth development. “The generosity of MYY Mall allows students to apply what they’ve learned in class to the real world stage, allowing sports, responsibility, cooperation, and practice to truly combine.”

In real environments, children get to interact with people in society and participate in event planning and implementation. She further added: “Without the resources and support of MYY Community Mall, it would be difficult for students to gain such a rare industry-academia collaboration opportunity. The certificate presented today is not only an expression of thanks, but also symbolizes the strong, trusting and ever-deepening partnership between the school and the community.”

Finally, Principal Jiang also called on parents and youths to seize the opportunity: “This is a rare chance for children to express themselves and boost their confidence, while allowing parents and children to cooperate side by side.
