Chinese actor Yu Menglong died after falling from a building on September 11. The cause of death remains a mystery and has sparked numerous conspiracy theories. Fan Shiqi, who debuted alongside Yu in 'Super Boy,' was known to be friends with him but got accused online of being one of the suspects in the case. He was also rumored to have posted on social media saying, “Because he deserved to die.” Ever since the incident, Fan Shiqi has faced angry backlash from the public, and all his work activities have come to a halt.
After Yu Menglong passed away, Fan Shiqi was bombarded with criticism from netizens. On the day of the Mid-Autumn Festival, he posted a photo of mooncakes on social media but was immediately attacked with harsh comments like, “Are those mooncakes filled with human blood?” and “It looks like your hands are stained red.” Others directly posted photos of Yu Menglong, asking, “Do you still remember what your relationship was?”
Recently Fan Shiqi has not made any public appearances, but was spotted by a netizen at the airport. According to the netizen, when Fan Shiqi was photographed, his gaze was sharp and intimidating. After his concert was canceled, “It’s hard to tell if he’s healthy, but his mood seemed quite poor and he acted very differently from his previously friendly self.” Staff around him even stepped in to stop people from taking photos.

In addition, Chinese YouTuber ‘Laodeng’ claimed that Yu Menglong’s mother had also passed away, which shocked the internet.
