Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar said that the current government will properly distribute the country's economic revenue to drive national development and ensure that all levels of society benefit.
He posted on Facebook today, stating: 'This includes smallholders, farmers, fishermen, as well as operators in the agriculture and national food supply chain.'
The Prime Minister's statement echoed the National King's address during the opening ceremony of the 1st session of the 4th term of the 15th Parliament, urging the government to continue helping smallholders, farmers, breeders, and fishermen.
The King also urged the government to continually strengthen the agricultural sector, wish industry, and food supply chain.
Anwar pointed out that the King's address reflects his expectation for smooth government administration and continued creation of various investment opportunities so that the people can enjoy the country's economic progress.
'The King also highlighted the importance of adopting high technology and the latest techniques in digitalization and cybersecurity, therefore I believe that after a comprehensive upgrade, this will revolutionize the delivery system and provide better government services.
'I pray and hope that under the King's rule, the sacred land of Malaysia remains peaceful, prosperous, and competitive in the long term.'
Anwar also expressed gratitude to the National King for presiding over the Parliament opening ceremony.
