(Dudong, 9th) The enforcement unit of the Dudong District Office discovered during an inspection that a company had littered and was fined.
The company, MS Abdur Rahman Sdn. Bhd., violated regulations inside the Sri Aman Complex Building in Dudong and was fined RM2,000.
If the company fails to pay the fine within seven days from the date of issuance of the summons, prosecution may be initiated. If convicted, the company will be subject to a fine of not less than RM2,000 and not more than RM10,000; for repeat or persistent offenders, a fine of not less than RM10,000 and not more than RM30,000 may be imposed, as well as imprisonment not exceeding 12 months, or both.
