Masjid An Nur, Kpg. Pujut Tanjung Batu Distributes Bubur Lambuk to Spread Warmth and Blessings

(Miri, 16th) In conjunction with the fasting month, Masjid An Nur, Kpg. Pujut Tanjung Batu held a Bubur Lambuk distribution event at 4 PM yesterday and invited Sarawak Minister of Transport Datuk Seri Lee Kim Shin to attend and join the public in experiencing the warmth and blessings of the fasting month.

Since ancient times, during the fasting month, mosques have been distributing porridge to the needy, reflecting the spirit of care and mutual assistance. This tradition continues to this day, with the mosque distributing Bubur Lambuk to the community every afternoon from 4 PM, allowing everyone to enjoy delicious and nutritious food when breaking fast.

Bubur Lambuk is not only a traditional food but also carries the meaning of sharing, charity, and assistance to the poor. It is made by simmering rice with various ingredients until soft, enabling Muslims who have fasted all day to quickly replenish energy and aid digestion.

Masjid An Nur, Kpg. Pujut Tanjung Batu distributed 500 portions of Bubur Lambuk to the public, bringing warmth to the community and further strengthening friendly relations among different ethnic groups while promoting the spirit of care and unity. People came in droves to receive Bubur Lambuk and exchange festive blessings with one another.
