(Julau, 30th) In order to enhance local educational facilities and community medical services, a total of RM32,000 has been allocated to the Parent-Teacher Association (PIBG) of SK Nanga Entaih and the Nanga Entaih clinic.
Sun Wei Xuan pointed out that, as the Chairman of the Malaysian Timber Industry Board, he believes that improvements to school facilities should be prioritized to ensure that rural students do not fall behind urban students.
“What we are concerned about is not just education, but also the development of sports and extracurricular activities in all aspects,” he said while attending the school hostel’s open day event.
He stated that student development must be viewed comprehensively, as future employers will place more emphasis on individual skills, character, and self-confidence during recruitment.
“In the future, when they leave school and enter the workforce, employers will assess their abilities, personal traits, and whether they can confidently perform in various aspects on the job.”
He added that the authorities will continue to support the school’s needs, including providing smart TVs and upgrading basic infrastructure.
“We are not only concerned about curriculum development, so I fully support the school’s needs in all aspects.”
“Sometimes schools need smart TV equipment or infrastructure upgrades, all of which are very important.”
He also hopes that the relevant facilities will continue to be improved, to create a more comfortable and sustainable learning environment.
“I do not want our schools to lag behind those in urban areas, so I hope everyone will pay attention and continually raise the standard of facilities used by students.”
