European aircraft manufacturer Airbus announced on the 19th local time that its net profit for 2025 reached 5.2 billion euros (about 23.9 billion ringgit).
In its financial report released that day, Airbus stated that its net profit for 2025 was 5.221 billion euros, a year-on-year increase of 23%. This figure surpasses Airbus's previous net profit record of 4.2 billion euros set in 2022. In 2025, Airbus delivered a total of 793 commercial aircraft, including 607 A320s, 57 A350s, 93 A220s, and 36 A330s. This delivery volume exceeds the 2024 delivery volume (766 aircraft), but falls short of its originally planned delivery target (820 aircraft). In 2025, Airbus also delivered 392 helicopters.
Airbus CEO Guillaume Faury said at a press conference on the 19th that global demand for commercial aircraft is supporting Airbus's continued production growth, and he expects Airbus aircraft production to further accelerate in 2026. As part of its main operational objectives for 2026, Airbus stated it expects to deliver 870 commercial aircraft. This figure will surpass Airbus's 2019 aircraft delivery volume (863 aircraft).
