Bandar Seri Begawan, 3rd - His Majesty the Sultan of Brunei yesterday received 992 Bruneian pilgrims who are about to embark on their pilgrimage to Mecca at the Istana Nurul Iman Palace.
During this audience ceremony, there were 472 male and 520 female pilgrims participating, which also included administrative and medical personnel from the Hajj Affairs Office, as well as staff from six Hajj package service companies accompanying the group.
The Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Crown Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah also attended the ceremony mentioned above.
The pilgrimage flights will depart in batches from May 15 to 18.
