(Miri, 29th) — The 27th Custodian Sacred Palace of the Malaysian Doumu Palace Nine Emperor Gods Association 2025 (Yi Si Year) is hosted by Miri Hailong Temple Doumu Palace Nine Emperor Gods Luohan Sanhuanglonggong. Last night, a grand celebration for the 28th anniversary of the Association and the 138th anniversary of the Hailong Temple lineage was held at the Wu Qinglong Master Multipurpose Hall in Miri Hailong Temple. 100 tables were set, attracting more than a thousand enthusiastic participants and creating a lively and extraordinary scene.
Chairman of the event, Wu Fosheng, sincerely thanked Dato’ Sebastian Ting Chiew Yew, Deputy Minister for Tourism of Sarawak, for serving as the conference chair and being the guest of honor for the night.
He revealed that Sebastian Ting originally had a very important meeting to attend, but in order to fulfill his promise to Hailong Temple, resolutely decided to be present on site and to accomplish this significant task together with everyone.
“It is thanks to his support that this national representative assembly was able to be completed successfully. We are grateful for you.”
Recalling the preparation process, Wu Fosheng emotionally expressed that the most unforgettable moment was witnessing the Association bringing together long-term supporters of the Nine Emperor Gods’ culture, allowing believers from throughout Malaysia and even around the world to gather together, communicate, and learn mutually.
“A year passes too quickly; my heart is still at the moment last year when I accepted the seal in Kedah. I never thought it would be our turn to host this year—it really feels like bidding farewell to family, with a bit of sorrow in my heart.”
He also represented the entire board and committee of Hailong Temple in once again thanking all distinguished guests and delegates who traveled from afar. “Everyone is busy, but not one declined to attend, which truly moved me deeply.”
“If our organizing committee’s hospitality was lacking in any way, we ask for everyone's forgiveness.”
He said that the successful holding of this grand event could not be achieved without the tacit understanding and effort of the team. He also wished the Nine Emperor Gods Associations in Malaysia and East Malaysia continued prosperity and to elevate the cultural faith to even greater heights.
