Visit of Wen Zhong Alumni Association to Shi Zhong

(Seria, 13th) The Wen Zhong Alumni Association visited Seria Chung Hua Middle School during the campus celebration activity.
The Wen Zhong Alumni Association was invited to participate in the "Open Doors" activity of each class. Students from different ethnic groups shared festive delicacies in the classrooms, creating a warm and harmonious scene that showcased the precious atmosphere of multicultural harmony.
Members of the Wen Zhong Alumni Association deeply felt that this naturally integrated cultural atmosphere not only nourishes the students' hearts but also injects harmonious vitality into the campus.
During the exchange with Principal Jia Renyou and Vice Principal Li Meiling, the school shared its commitment to integrating cultural education into daily teaching, emphasizing that beyond imparting knowledge, it is more important for students to understand and respect multiculturalism. They believe that only by "promoting culture through education and deepening education through culture" can a new generation with a broad mind and inclusiveness be truly cultivated.

The Alumni Association expressed their sincere admiration and agreement with the school's direction of attaching equal importance to cultural education and character building.
Seria Chung Cheng Middle School was founded in 1938, emerging in response to the development of the Seria oil field. In its early days, it established a primary school department, and throughout the 1950s, it gradually added a kindergarten, a junior high department, and in 1957, founded a high school department, becoming the first Chinese school in Brunei to have a high school section.
Currently, Chung Cheng Middle School has two main campuses: the secondary and kindergarten campus and the primary campus, continuing to write important chapters in the history of Chinese education locally.
The Alumni Association also visited one of the campuses on this trip to closely experience the school's approach to simultaneously advancing tradition and innovation in its operation.
