During the run of the show, Ryoki Miyama allegedly displayed extreme possessiveness; even after Hanano’s repeated refusals, he threatened her using their professional relationship and the success of the stage play. This led to Hanano's mental and physical collapse, with a physician diagnosing her with "adjustment disorder."
