Taiwanese actress Barbie Hsu (Xu Xiyuan) passed away in early February and was laid to rest in the Rose Garden at Jinbaoshan, New Taipei City, in March. This year during the Lunar New Year, Barbie Hsu traveled to Japan and suddenly died from flu-related pneumonia at the age of 48, which left her friend Jia Yongjie extremely sad. Even though there were rumors of disagreements during the filming of “Meteor Garden,” and Barbie Hsu once admitted, “Jerry Yan is really weird, it's impossible to get along with him, and I don't want to work with him again,” both of them, after years of experience, have become more tolerant of each other’s personalities. When he participated in “Call Me by Fire,” Barbie Hsu even filmed a special video to support him, saying, “Dao Ming Si, I’m your 'Shan Cai.'
