(Kuching, 5th) The Governor of Sarawak, Tun Pehin Sri Dr. Haji Wan Junaidi, conferred Sarawak honorary medals to 137 distinguished individuals today at the Sarawak Governor's Office.
The ceremony began with the presentation of the Courageous Commendation Medal (P.P.N) (Bronze Award) to 7 people, namely Anie Eri, Benjamin Beng, Bong Chon Khui, Eugene Tay, Goh Yeaw Teong, Niezol Yapong, and Hadison.
This was followed by the Sarawak Order of the Star of Commander Medals (P.B.S.) awarded to 4 people, including Jabang Henry, James, Jachah Subon and Patrick.
A total of 13 people received the Bintang Kenyalang Order of the Commander Medal (P.B.K.), including Sudi Wara, Ennis, Mohamad Aznilan, Dr. Rees Med, Jong Fung Swee, Dr. Hasnan, and other honorees.
Meanwhile, 23 people received the Loyal Service Medal (P.P.B.), led by Shamima, followed by Chai Lee Lin, Sharifah Fatimah, Azrawati, and other honorees.
Additionally, 16 people received the Sarawak Order of the Merit Star Medal (A.B.S.), including Christopher, Chong Nyuk Fah, Dalizioser and Donaruya.
A total of 17 people received the Bintang Kenyalang Order of the Meritorious Medal (A.B.K.), including Ajun Lasah Longhouse Chief, Anthony, Ilun Mustapha, and Johari Zahara.
This was followed by the presentation of the Service Excellence Medal (P.P.T.) to 32 recipients, including Sergeant Analiri, Sergeant Zulkanain, Desmond, Elizius Tan, Farid Mohamad, Fazza Abu, and others.
The medal presentation ceremony concluded with the presentation of the Sarawak Order of the Star of the Herald Medal (B.B.S.) to Awang Masri, Ariadna, Abdul Khalik, and Andara Butera among 25 people.
