(Kuching, 15th) The internal election results of the Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) will be announced tomorrow (16th) during the closing of the 16th triennial delegates conference.
Among them, the most attention is focused on the contest for 4 vice chairman positions and 30 Supreme Council members.
Since the entry of two new challengers in the indigenous faction for the 4 vice chairman positions, namely the current Deputy Secretary General Satok assemblyman Datuk Ibrahim Baki and Datuk Len Talif is also a deputy minister (of Natural Resources and Urban Development).
The four current vice chairmen are Datuk Seri Abdul Karim, Datuk Seri Julaihie Narawi, Datuk Abdul Rahman Junaidi, and Datuk Anwar Rapaie.
In the election for the Supreme Council, 19 conservative candidates are vying for 14 seats, while 20 indigenous candidates are competing for 16 seats.
Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu Chairman Abang Johari, the relevant election voting was also conducted this afternoon, with Abang Johari casting the first ballot in the conference election.
