F4 Tour Reportedly Postponed; Insider: Ken Chu Is Too Hard to Control

Composed of Jerry Yan, Vic Chou, Ken Chu, and Vanness Wu, “F4” served as special guests at Mayday’s concert this July at Taipei Dome and Beijing Bird’s Nest. Ken Chu previously admitted during a livestream that he has started recording new songs, and there are also plans for a concert.

F4’s recent “reunion of the century” has become a hot topic among fans. Ken Chu originally had plans for his own concert in China, but previously hinted it would be postponed due to F4’s reunion activities. According to insiders, when it comes to F4’s work arrangements, everything has been put on hold because Ken Chu is “too hard to control.” After recording the group track, they have temporarily not invited him to do solo tracks, choosing instead to focus on Jerry Yan, Vic Chou, and Vanness Wu recording their individual songs. The main concern is that Ken Chu might accidentally reveal things again, which would ruin the sense of mystery before the album is released.

Earlier, during a livestream, Ken Chu choked up when talking about the late Barbie Hsu (Big S). When netizens asked if F4 would be releasing a new song soon, he responded, "That’s a great question," then checked his phone and said, “Yes, I have already done demo recordings. I sang two songs, but I can’t share them with you yet, because it’s not out yet.” He added that if they were to hold a concert, F4 would have to release another album, and that they are working in that direction. Someone next to him jokingly said, “Stop leaking spoilers,” and told him to “zip his lips.”
