Venezuela Hit by Consecutive Earthquakes Above Magnitude 7; Strong Tremors Felt in Caracas

According to the US Geological Survey Earthquake Information Network, at 22:04 UTC on the 24th (06:04 local time on the 25th in Malaysia), a magnitude 7.2 earthquake struck near Montalbán, Venezuela, at a depth of 10 kilometers.

In less than a minute, another strong earthquake occurred in Venezuela, this time with a magnitude of 7.5. The epicenter was about 45 kilometers from the first quake, with a focal depth of 10 kilometers.
