33-year-old Taiwanese star Darren Wang was reportedly arrested on the 18th for evading military service. According to the Mirror Weekly report, Darren Wang allegedly spent a million NTD to forge a false medical certificate in an attempt to dodge military service, ultimately failing and still having to report for duty on March 13. However, legal experts suggest that since the forged medical document was never submitted, there is no criminal offense. Therefore, as long as he completes his one-year service, he should avoid charges of evading military duties and forging documents. Nonetheless, his reputation took a significant hit due to the scandal, and an acting role initially intended for him in "In the Village Comes a Raging Female Surgeon 2" was withdrawn.
