The Hong Kong Police's National Security Department announced on the 24th that it is seeking six individuals, including 62-year-old artist Zheng Jingji, who started his career as a singer in the 1980s and 90s and has recently entered politics in Canada.

Zheng Jingji was once a member of the duo "Fengyun Band" and later emigrated to Canada with his family, returning to Hong Kong twice for career development. His well-known works include the 1987 duet "Wine Glass Knocking on the Piano" with Huang Baoxin, TV series "Burning Flame," and "Kara Homestay." In 2021, he founded the online media "Hong Konger Station" in Canada. On January 22, 2024, he announced on his media channel his participation in the Canadian Conservative Party's primary election.

Zheng Jingji's photo and information have been uploaded to the police department's webpage, accusing him of "inciting national secession" and "colluding with foreign or external forces to endanger national security," including publishing multiple videos inciting national secession on the online platform. The National Security Department states that after they left Hong Kong, they continue to blatantly form or join organizations abroad, using online platforms to incite national secession. Each individual has a bounty of HKD 1 million (approximately MYR 570,000) on their head, and there are plans to cut off their financial resources and freeze their accounts.
