Dissatisfied with Coldplay Frontman’s Jokes, Cheating CEO Plans to Sue

British band “Coldplay”’s concert recently turned into a cheating scandal scene. During a “kiss cam” segment earlier this month, Andy Byron, CEO of tech startup Astronomer, and HR director Kristin Cabot were caught having an affair, causing a huge stir. The incident led Andy to resign from his CEO post, with his reputation ruined; now, it is reported that he is planning to sue Coldplay.

According to media reports, Andy was caught cheating at the Coldplay concert, and soon afterward resigned as Astronomer’s CEO. Insiders reveal that Andy is quite dissatisfied with Coldplay’s frontman Chris Martin, believing that filming and making jokes about the affair without permission turned him into a meme. Thus, Andy may sue the band and the concert organizer.

Regarding the chances of winning such a case, lawyers analyze that Andy is, in principle, able to sue the band, but must prove that Chris knew or should have known he was not committing adultery. However, other lawyers believe that if Andy really sues Coldplay, he could face even more public backlash.

It is reported that Andy’s net worth is between $20 million and $70 million (about MYR 84.68 million to 290 million). Now, after being forced to resign as CEO, he will inevitably take an economic hit. If Andy’s wife also files for divorce, it would have a major impact on his net worth.
