(Seria, 26th) The Malay Fuzhou Association Women’s Group held its 25th anniversary celebration last night at the association’s hall, where numerous guests, committee members, members, and representatives from friendship associations gathered together to witness the Women’s Group enter a new milestone, with the venue brimming with warmth and festive atmosphere.
Organizing chairperson Fang Weijing and Women’s Group director Fang Meilan delivered speeches in succession, reviewing the development journey since the establishment of the Women’s Group and expressing gratitude for the longstanding support and contributions from past leaders, members, and people from all walks of life. The event then held a cake-cutting and group photo session, symbolizing the significant moment of the Women’s Group’s 25th anniversary, followed by the official start of the banquet.
The evening’s program was rich and diverse. In addition to performances by the Malay Fuzhou Association Women’s Group, the Hainan Association Women’s Group, Brunei Fuzhou Ten Counties Fellowship Women’s Group, Yuanji Fitness Club committee members, and Hakka Association Women’s Group also presented wonderful shows, showcasing the vitality and artistic talents of various women’s organizations.
The Yuanji Dance Fitness Institute presented “Reaching for Success”, and the Xu Xiufeng Dance Troupe brought the “Luggage of Life” combined dance performance. The event also arranged a Zumba performance, encouraging guests to move along with the rhythm of the music, bringing the banquet atmosphere to its climax.
During the celebration, long service awards were also presented to recognize members who have actively participated in association activities and made contributions to the Women’s Group over the years, with two rounds of lucky draws interspersed to bring surprises to the attendees.
The banquet ended successfully amid laughter and joy.
