Chong Chieng Jen Supports Dragon Boat Sport, Allocates Funds to Kuching Dragon Boat Team

(Kuching, 16th) Batu Lintang MP Chong Chieng Jen personally visited under the Satok Bridge to hand over a funding check to the Kuching Dragon Boat Team during their regular training session, to assist the team in promoting dragon boat sports in Kuching.

When invited to speak, he stated that dragon boating is not only a physical exercise but also a traditional cultural sport that fosters team spirit.

Chong Chieng Jen shared his experience in dragon boating, saying that he had participated twice with the Kuching team, paddling from Batu Kawa all the way to the Kuching Waterfront. Although he felt very fatigued and had muscle soreness afterwards, he felt a great sense of achievement, making it a sport worth experiencing and enjoying.

He is very pleased to see more and more people participating in the team's dragon boating activities. He hopes their involvement will bring new vitality to the Kuching Dragon Boat Team, continuing to promote the thriving development of dragon boat sports in Kuching and throughout Sarawak.

Chong Chieng Jen praised the Kuching team for their relentless efforts in promoting the sport, providing a great platform for those passionate about dragon boating.

He hopes that this allocation will ease the club's financial burden while contributing to the development of dragon boat sports.
