Australia held a federal election on May 3rd, and Albanese led the ruling Labor Party to victory.
The new Australian cabinet consists of 23 people. The victorious Labor Party made adjustments and additions to some government department heads, and key leaders from the previous government were reappointed, including Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Marles, Foreign Minister Wong, Treasurer Chalmers, and Trade Minister Farrell.
On the 12th, after announcing the list of government department heads, Albanese stated that the agenda presented to the Australian people would be implemented to make the country better.
