Sarawak Governor Opens Doors to Celebrate with the People: A Festive Atmosphere Shared by All Ethnic Groups

(Kuching, 31st) The Governor of Sarawak, Tun Pehin Sri Dr. Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar dan isteri Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Fauziah Mohd Sanusi  hosted a Hari Raya open house at the Governor's residence this morning, attracting over 10,000 attendees from various ethnic groups to join in the celebration.

Attendees included members of the Sarawak cabinet, representatives from non-governmental organizations, private companies, uniformed bodies, and the public from various social backgrounds.

Guests from different races and backgrounds donned colorful traditional attire, immersing themselves in the festive atmosphere, highlighting the unity and harmony among the diverse communities of Sarawak.

In Sarawak, whether it's Hari Raya or the Chinese Lunar New Year, open houses are held across different communities to not only strengthen the relationship between leaders and the people but also serve as a platform for fostering unity in a multicultural society.
