Recently, Jay Chou issued a 'missing person notice' in his personal IG Stories, directly stating that his former friend, magician Tsai Wei-ze, has vanished without a trace. According to information obtained by this publication, Tsai Wei-ze managed bitcoin investments for Jay Chou, totaling as much as 100 to 200 million TWD (approximately 13.74 million to 27.48 million MYR), and is now nowhere to be found. It is reported that Jay Chou is preparing to file a lawsuit against him.

Since last year, Tsai Wei-ze claimed that his bitcoin account was locked for some reason. Jay Chou gave him a year to resolve the issue. Now, not only has the money not been returned, but Tsai has also disappeared, prompting an angry Jay Chou to publicly search for him on social media. According to insiders who invest in cryptocurrencies, Tsai Wei-ze liked to use high leverage for investments. With his sudden disappearance, it’s possible the investments have all been wiped out and he’s unable to make it right.

After multiple unsuccessful attempts to reach out, Jay Chou even spoke out publicly: "If you don't show yourself, you're finished!" and subsequently unfollowed Tsai on social media. Because Tsai couldn’t be found, Jay is now preparing to sue him. Taiwanese magician “Jian Zi” also uncovered Tsai Wei-ze’s history of misdeeds, including partners unable to get their money or products, and owing wages to employees. Jian Zi admitted that he too had been “tricked” by Tsai several times, saying, “There was one time when I was about to launch a product with a magician and Tsai suddenly got involved, making dreamy offers to 'make him a star' and claiming he had 'Jay Chou’s support', but the contract terms were extremely unfair to the magician.” According to Jian Zi, Tsai's bad conduct has long been known in the magic circle. Jay Chou’s record company, JVR Music, declined to comment on the matter.
