Takuya Kimura Endorses Hair Wax Again After 20 Years, Koki Shares Fitness Tips in Interview

Japanese drama superstar Takuya Kimura has announced his return as the spokesperson for a hair wax brand after a 20-year hiatus, and has released a new commercial. Back then, Kimura performed a series of commercials for the product that took Asia by storm—with his "chok face," twisting his waist while styling his hair to the classic 1970s hit "Can’t Give You Anything (But My Love)" by American soul group The Stylistics. Many playfully imitated the ads, and the catchy commercials are still unforgettable to this day.

In addition, his daughter Koki appeared on June 18th with actor Masataka Koyama at a sportswear brand event in Tokyo. With a slender figure just like her mother, Shizuka Kudo, Koki generously shared her fitness tips: “I go for a run every morning with my beloved dog, and when I’m stretching on my yoga mat, it sits in front of me watching, just like a coach.”
