This executive order concerns the modification of reciprocal tariff rates to reflect discussions with China, including a significant reduction in small parcel tariffs to the aforementioned rate, while maintaining the fixed amount ad valorem tariff of $100 (approximately 433 Malaysian Ringgit) per small parcel.
The White House also announced the cancellation of the original plan to increase the ad valorem tariff on small parcels from $100 to $200 as of the 1st of next month.
The above adjustments apply to all consumer goods entering the US customs area from mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macau, or consumer goods retrieved from warehouses.
