KUCHING, July 7: One person was killed while another two were injured following a two-vehicle accident at Jalan Pan Borneo-Tatau in Bintulu yesterday.
According to a report from the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba), an emergency call was received at 7.06pm, and firefighters from the Tatau station were deployed.
Upon arrival, it was noted that the accident involved a Perodua Kembara and a Toyota Vios.
The driver of the Kembara was reported to have been thrown out of his vehicle due to the collision, sustaining severe injuries.
Meanwhile, the driver of the Vios, identified as 30-year-old Mohammad Norazfarizdwan Iqbal Inai, was pronounced dead by personnel from the Health Ministry.
Another victim suffered from minor injuries.
The operation ended at 7.50pm.
