Over 40,000 Beneficiaries of BAS.MY Free Service: Seniors Account for 78%, Students 13%

(Kuala Lumpur, 27th) As of this August, a total of 49,611 people have used the free bus service provided by the BAS.MY bus discount card. Of these, the largest group of users are seniors, accounting for 78%, followed by primary and secondary school students (13%), people with disabilities (6%), and university students (3%).
The regions with the most BAS.MY discount card users are, in order: Johor Bahru, Kuching, Ipoh, Seremban, and Melaka.
Transport Minister Anthony Loke stated this during the parliamentary Q&A session on Monday (27th).
