Two Motorcycles Collide in Serikei, Leaving Two Dead and One Seriously Injured

(Serikei, 3rd) A serious traffic accident occurred in Serikei this morning, involving two motorcycles and a car, resulting in the immediate deaths of two men and the serious injury of a woman, who was sent to the hospital for treatment.
According to reports from the Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department Operations Center, the Serikei Fire and Rescue Department received the alert at 9:35 am today and immediately dispatched one fire engine and five firefighters to the scene to carry out rescue operations.

The authorities stated that the accident involved two motorcycles and a Hyundai Atos car, with three riders and passengers respectively—two men and one woman. The two male riders were pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel, while the female rider was seriously injured and transported by ambulance to Serikei Hospital for treatment.
It is reported that the driver of the car fled the scene after the accident. Police are currently investigating and searching for the suspect.
The firefighters who arrived assisted the police and medical personnel in moving the deceased and injured to a safe area. The two deceased were handled by the police, while the injured was sent for emergency treatment by medical staff. After the scene was secured, the fire rescue team packed up and returned.
The two deceased have been identified as Nyaring anak Achang, 43 years old, male, and Louis anak Asey, 58 years old, male. The seriously injured is Seloma anak Joshua Bunsu, 58 years old, female.
