(Bandar Seri Begawan, 16th) Recently, the anti-cyberbullying poster design contest organized by Brunei Chung Hwa Middle School successfully concluded, and the prize list for each group has been announced. The competition, themed "Say No to Cyberbullying," aimed to raise students' awareness of cyberbullying through creative poster designs and foster a safe and harmonious campus environment.
Principal Xu Yuelan of the school mentioned that the successful organization of this anti-cyberbullying poster design competition not only provided a platform for middle school students to showcase their talents and exchange creative ideas but also created a positive atmosphere focused on network safety and opposing cyberbullying throughout the school.
The competition was jointly organized by the school's art department and counseling office, with participants coming from the school's seventh, ninth, and tenth-grade students. The contest format required groups of 1 to 5 students to design a poster. The artwork could be hand-drawn or a collage, but printed or AI-generated works were prohibited.
The entries were displayed at Wen Bang Hall on the morning of November 25th (Monday). Evaluation started at 10 a.m. on November 26th (Tuesday), with each group sending one or two students to explain their work.
Prizes were set as certificates and cash awards for first to third places. The first prize was BND 50, second prize BND 30, and third prize BND 20.
Participants drew on their professional skills during the competition, creating numerous impactful and educational poster works. These works conveyed a strong message to oppose cyberbullying and maintain campus safety with vivid imagery and powerful text.
