The starring actor, Wang Hedi, recently attended an event where fans encouraged him, with a promise that if the drama's popularity exceeded 30,000, he would "take off his shirt." "Dafeng Night Patrolmen" is adapted from the novel of the same name by online novelist Mai Bao Xiao Langjun. The work has earned four titles: "Annual Best Work," "Top 10 Annual Male Popularity," "Annual Oriental Fantasy Theme Work," and "Annual Anticipated Film and Television Adaptation." The story follows an enthusiastic young man from modern times named Xu Qian (played by Wang Hedi) who arrives in the Dafeng Dynasty. He wishes to change his life using advanced thinking and knowledge but always finds himself as a pawn in someone else's game. Slowly, he learns the gifts of fate and is determined to transform into a player, pioneering and leading a new Dafeng world.
