(Seri Begawan, 25th) The International Fo Guang Association Brunei and the Taiwan Chamber of Commerce recently partnered to hold the Pass on the Love blood donation activity at the Central Hospital in Seri Begawan.
Fo Guang Association Brunei President Hung Chien-Ching, Taiwan Chamber of Commerce President Wu Jiaxin, Honorary President and Treasurer Yeh Wang-Chuan, along with members from both associations, participated in the blood donation event to promote this charitable cause. The event also received enthusiastic support from the public.
The blood donation drive started at 8:00 pm and continued until 10:00 pm last night. This is the first blood donation event hosted by the association in 2026. The blood drive was specially arranged during Ramadan, not only to address the insufficient blood supply in Brunei's government hospitals but also in response to the Brunei government's appeal. Through this socially meaningful charity event, the organizers aimed to demonstrate social care, give back to the public, and fulfill a solemn mission of social responsibility.
This blood donation event attracted more than 80 participants, with 66 people successfully donating blood.
