The Thai police announced on the 3rd that its independently developed 'Fraud and Human Trafficking Information Exchange and Coordination Database' system has been officially launched. This system aims to strengthen intelligence exchange capabilities in combating telecom fraud and human trafficking, and to further enhance the efficiency of international law enforcement coordination.
At the closing ceremony of the International Action Dialogue on Combating Online Fraud and Forced Crime held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand on the same day, Deputy Commissioner-General of the Royal Thai Police and Director of the Anti-Human Trafficking Center, Tatchai, stated that the Thai government attaches great importance to the security risks posed by telecom fraud and human trafficking. For this reason, the government has developed and launched this information sharing system, leveraging technology to address transnational crime threats.
Tatchai stated that the system supports real-time synchronization of four types of core intelligence among law enforcement agencies: crime scene locations, related IP addresses, fund transaction chains, and personnel information files. It also comes with full-process case-handling functions, covering updates of suspect information, tracking of criminal activity trajectories, tracing and freezing of involved funds, gathering of evidence on criminal groups, coordination of cross-border rescue operations, and victim support interface—facilitating efficient collaborative investigations and cross-border law enforcement actions among countries.
