In response to Taiwanese entertainers reposting unified front and military exercise messages from Chinese state media on Weibo, Taiwan’s Mainland Affairs Council recently investigated 23 entertainers and issued verbal warnings. On the 3rd, China held a military parade at Tiananmen Square under the pretext of “Commemorating the 80th Anniversary of the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War Victory.” At midnight, "CCTV News" posted on Weibo as scheduled, followed by a string of Taiwanese stars including Wu Kang-ren, Shu Qi, Annie Yi, Nicky Wu, Zhang Ting, Lin Ruiyang, Yoga Lin, and TANK Lü Jianzhong reposting. Singer Yang Pei-an also shared the CCTV News military parade livestream, criticizing Taiwan President Lai Ching-te: "In contrast, the Lai administration not only failed to hold any official commemorative activities, but can’t even utter the words ‘War of Resistance,’ always using the ‘end of war’ term like a defeated nation, unwilling and afraid to face historical facts—such an attitude is despicable..."

The entertainers who reposted all included the hashtags #阅兵直播# (#MilitaryParadeLivestream#) and #九三盛大阅兵# (#September3rdGrandMilitaryParade#) to trending topics. Wu Kang-ren wrote: "Remember history, honor our fallen heroes, cherish peace, and create a better future!"

Shu Qi and Nicky Wu wrote the same: "Heroes are immortal, peace will last forever!" Annie Yi expressed: "Cherish the hard-won peace!"

Lin Ruiyang wrote passionately: "Let’s witness the grand September 3rd parade together! Justice will prevail! Peace will prevail! The people will prevail!"

Zhang Ting remembered her homeland: "To the past, in respect of the future, may the vast mountains and rivers thrive always, and may the motherland prosper and be strong!" TANK, who underwent a heart and liver transplant in China, and Zhang Ting posted the same message. Yoga Lin, still recovering, said sincerely: "We should all deeply remember, let the truth endure, and let peace last forever.

The Nanjing Massacre is an irrefutable historical fact, an extremely painful page in history, a shared tragedy of all humanity."
