(Reported from Miri on the 15th) The countdown for the 2025 Miri Gong Xi Bazaar has reached 2 days. The stage and stall tents at the parking lot of the old provincial office in the city center have been set up, and the preparation work for the bazaar has entered the final stage.
Organized by the Miri Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCCI), the Miri Gong Xi Bazaar will officially start at 8 AM on January 18th (Saturday) on King Street and Main Street, running for 11 days and 10 nights until it concludes at 11 AM on January 28th (Tuesday).
The bazaar will have about 300 stalls set up on Main Street, King Street, and the parking lot of the old provincial office, providing a variety of goods and food for citizens and tourists, marking the longest-running edition in its history.
This morning, food stall owners attended a food handling course at the chamber hall and received anti-typhoid vaccine injections to ensure food safety and the health of stall owners during the bazaar.
