Chinese actress Li Ruojia, who has starred in hit dramas such as "Princess Agents," "Detective Dee," and "Changle Melody," recently revealed that she has been diagnosed with 'Hashimoto's disease,' experiencing symptoms such as fatigue and dizziness. She now has to give up takeout food and turn to a healthy diet to help manage her condition.
In a vlog posted on the 5th, Li Ruojia admitted to having been diagnosed with 'Hashimoto's disease,' a thyroid disorder. Since 2021, she has experienced persistent fatigue, joint pain, and dizziness. This disease mainly affects women aged 30 to 50, with about 90% of patients being female. As there is no cure, only lifestyle adjustments can be made. She has now quit her takeout habit, shifted to whole, healthy foods, and reduced her intake of processed products.
She emphasizes the importance of dietary changes and now cooks for herself to better control her intake of iodized salt and additives. In addition, she exercises regularly and maintains a healthy routine. Medical experts state that, although emotional stress may be one of the triggers, the core issue is immune system dysfunction. Frequent takeout is not a direct cause, but a diet high in iodine and additives may worsen inflammation. #
