According to Lebanese media reports on the 18th, Israeli forces launched four airstrikes against Lebanon, targeting downtown Beirut and southern suburbs.
In the early hours of the 18th local time, several loud explosions were heard in Beirut.
The report pointed out that an apartment in the Zuqaq al-Blat neighborhood in downtown Beirut was hit. This area is close to the Lebanese government headquarters and hosts several embassies.
The report stated that last week, the Israeli military also attacked a Beirut branch of a financial institution linked to Hezbollah.
The report said another Israeli strike targeted the Basta district in the city center, which had also suffered attacks during the 2024 war between Israel and Hezbollah.
The report noted that Beirut's southern suburb was also attacked, an area known as a Hezbollah stronghold.
