In addition, on the 16th, Iranian Foreign Minister Aragchi told reporters during a meeting in Tehran that the current actions of the U.S. government do not indicate that it is ready for equal and fair negotiations.
He said that Iran is not conducting uranium enrichment activities, nor does it have any undeclared uranium enrichment facilities. Iran's right to peaceful use of nuclear energy must be recognized by the international community, including the United States.
He stated that Iran will continue to seek peaceful resolution of disputes through diplomatic channels and will not yield to bullying or hegemonic behavior.
