Husband Sentenced to 14 Years in Prison, Ady An’s Recent Status Revealed: 'She’s Absolutely Not Short of Money'

44-year-old Taiwanese actress Ady An’s husband, former Dejin Group chairman Chen Ronglian, was arrested three years ago for involvement in illegal gambling and was ultimately sentenced last year to 14 years in prison. Six individuals, including Chen, were jointly fined 7.5 billion TWD (about 1 billion MYR). Ady An has been independently raising her 6-year-old son and 5-year-old daughter, living a more low-key life compared to the past. Recently, she was spotted taking her two children to see a doctor, and afterwards gathering with friends until late at night before returning home.
According to a report by 'CTWANT', Ady An was dressed like a schoolgirl, wearing a Chanel waist bag slung across her body—low-key yet luxurious—and was chauffeured in a luxury car. After Chen Ronglian went to prison, there were once rumors that she would make a comeback to make money quickly, but such talk proved baseless.

Ady An herself comes from a prominent family and is a true third-generation heiress. Her grandmother, famously known as 'Wu Mama of the East District,' is a well-known major landlord. Her aunt is a leading figure in the 'tea street' on section four of Zhongxiao East Road, and her father operates a security company with a presence throughout Taiwan.
Ady An has also proven her own ability to earn money. In her early years, she had a successful career in China, with an average annual income of 200 million TWD (about 27.71 million MYR). Growing up with business-minded relatives, she learned to invest early, buying properties for rental income. Each month she collects rents totaling more than a million TWD (about 138,000 MYR), so her lifestyle is worry-free.
