This comprehensive report is the result of a strategic collaboration between DST and leading technology research institution Twimbit. It covers Brunei’s current state and future potential in key sectors such as e-commerce, finance, tourism, and artificial intelligence.
The report points out that with the policy support and infrastructure guarantees of the “Brunei Vision 2035,” it is urgent to deepen cross-sector collaboration and increase investment in digital talent in order to fully unlock the country’s digital economic potential.
DST hopes that through this report, it can further promote collaborative efforts among policymakers, industry, and educational institutions to accelerate Brunei’s economic structural transformation, moving toward the goal of becoming an emerging economy with high technology and high added value.
