Actress Makiyo appeared on Qiang Qiang's podcast show, discussing the controversy involving Rainie Yang and sparking debates. She also mentioned the 2012 taxi driver assault incident, claiming the driver wasn't in a coma, questioned how a comatose person could give a statement, and stated that when they tried to access other surveillance footage, they were told the cameras were out of power.

The wife of the driver, Mr. Lin, heard about this and, through a lawyer, released a statement saying that her husband was unable to work normally due to a head injury and died from depression in 2018. She noted he never had a passport or Taiwan Compatriot Permit and never left Taiwan throughout his life, verifiable through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. After the assault, Mr. Lin was taken to Taipei Medical University Hospital with a coma index of 3, and there are medical records available to confirm this. She warned that if Makiyo continues to spread false information, she will file charges for insulting the deceased and aggravated defamation.

In response, Makiyo stated: "He wasn't in a coma." But when informed that records existed at the hospital, she replied, "We also have medical records." When the family claimed Mr. Lin didn't have a passport, Makiyo countered, "But we indeed heard news that he went abroad to play."

Makiyo further claimed: "Regarding the going abroad to play issue, two days before the reconciliation we were told he was on a trip, returning the next day, and we heard this after visiting his home." When the driver's wife announced plans to sue, Makiyo said, "I won't feel wronged. It's better to clear things up once and for all. Thank them for giving me this chance to ascertain the truth."

Reveals Rainie Yang 'Dated Ah BEN,' Hits Back at Wilber Pan, Cyndi Wang

Makiyo added more claims, revealing that Rainie Yang was not financially well off back then and often initiated gatherings and karaoke outings, which she usually paid for. "During that time, she wasn't financially stable, and she never treated me to a meal," Makiyo said, also noting that Rainie dated artist Ah BEN (Bai Ji Sheng), "She was into Japanese stuff back then, and she'd introduce her boyfriends to us, and I remember she was dating Ah BEN at the time." Additionally, Makiyo mentioned that when Rainie rose to fame with her song "Ambiguous," she still sent congratulations to her.

This additional accusation adds more controversy, serving as another focal point for public opinion labeling her "ungrateful." Regarding the recent public support Rainie has received from industry friends like Wilber Pan and Cyndi Wang, Makiyo snapped back: "Do they know the real situation? If not, don't speak carelessly. I don't care that she doesn't contact me now that she's famous. That's all, I won't ride on coattails."

Christine Fan Once Invited Angela Chang to Join S Club, Only One Entry Standard Revealed: Didn't Meet It, So No Contacts
Angela Chang and Christine Fan had a falling out.
Makiyo also revealed she joined the "Seven Fairies" sisterhood formed by Big and Little S and Pace Wu. Christine Fan initially also included Angela Chang in gatherings.

Makiyo explained she got to know Big and Little S through co-hosting "Entertainment 100%" and subsequently joined the "Seven Fairies" sisterhood which includes Ayaka (Aya Liu), Pace Wu, and Mavis Fan. Makiyo stated that members of the group must be honest and genuine, "You must speak sincerely, no pretenses." The group is very close-knit, and the entry standard is whether the individuals' vibes align.

Makiyo further noted that Christine Fan once invited Angela Chang to the "Seven Fairies" meetings to observe her behavior; the group monitored if Chang was genuine and happy during conversations, "If not (meeting the standards), there was no need to keep in touch." Despite Christine Fan and Angela Chang once being friends from the same company, and collaborating on a classic duet "The Things We Do for Love" in 2005, their relationship soured when Angela had contractual disputes in 2008 due to family issues, and Christine chose to distance herself.
