(Bandar Seri Begawan, 30th) The Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF), through its Gambling Suppression and Vice Prevention Investigation Unit (USPPPM) and Criminal Investigation Department (CID), conducted a raid on a hotel in the Gadong area on Monday night, arresting a 36-year-old foreign woman.
The suspect was arrested inside the hotel room, suspected of being involved in prostitution activities.
Evidence seized by the police includes cash, condoms, lubricants, two mobile phones, and a laptop, which are believed to be related to prostitution activities.
The suspect and the evidence have been brought back to the Criminal Investigation Department for further investigation. The case is being investigated under Section 294A of Chapter 22 of the Criminal Code.
