Canadian actor Tyler Mane, 59, who became internationally known for his iconic role as the villain 'Sabretooth' in the Hollywood blockbuster 'X-Men,' recently confirmed without warning on social media that he has unfortunately been diagnosed with an 'extremely rare' case of male breast cancer, and has completely halted all work to be hospitalized for chemotherapy.
Formerly a professional wrestler, Tyler Mane is known for his towering, tough-guy image. On Tuesday, he posted a video to Facebook, appearing visibly haggard as he delivered the bad news: 'I have some bad news—I started chemotherapy today. One in every 750 men will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime, and I am one of them.'
At the end of the video, Tyler Mane also showed footage of himself lying in a hospital bed preparing for chemotherapy. Staying true to his fierce persona, he roared angrily at the camera: 'F–k cancer!' He also called on fans to share the video with more people in hopes of raising public awareness about male breast cancer.
