To commemorate the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War, the 'Eternal Memory' Nanjing Massacre Documentation Exhibition opened on the 18th at the China-Portugal Commercial and Trade Cooperation Service Platform Complex in Macau, strengthening historical memory and gathering the force for peace through precious historical materials.

The exhibition is guided by the Jiangsu Provincial Cyberspace Administration and Xinhua News Media Group, and co-organized by the Macau Oral History Association, the Memorial Hall of the Victims in Nanjing Massacre by Japanese Invaders, and Yangtze Evening News Youth.

The exhibition is divided into three sections: 'Historical Memory', 'Shared Memory', and 'World Memory'. It features more than 160 representative documents and over 80 photographs about the history of the Nanjing Massacre, presenting the historical truth of the atrocity through archival records. The exhibition also showcases reports about the Nanjing Massacre from publications such as Macau's Huachiao Daily, Hong Kong's Ta Kung Pao, and Xinhua Daily, telling the stories behind the archival documents.

In his speech, Jiangsu Provincial Cyberspace Administration Deputy Director You Jian said that the aim of holding this exhibition in Macau is to present the historical truth in an all-round and multi-dimensional way, to educate and guide Macau youth to deepen their patriotic feelings for the nation, and to promote the main theme of loving the country and Macau in the new era.
