President of Timor-Leste, José Ramos-Horta, arrived in Malaysia on Saturday (13th) to embark on a five-day special visit.
The commercial flight carrying Ramos-Horta and his delegation landed at Kuala Lumpur International Airport Terminal 1 at 11:12am on Saturday morning (June 13th). Subsequently, in the Hibiscus VIP Lounge, he inspected the static guard of honor from the 1st Battalion of the Royal Ranger Regiment, commanded by Captain Luqman.
Ramos-Horta was received by Director General of Protocol at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ikram, as well as Datuk Rozainor, Head of the Ceremonies and International Conferences Secretariat.

Malaysian Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar will host a luncheon in honor of Ramos-Horta at the Prime Minister's residence on Tuesday (16th).
Subsequently, Ramos-Horta will attend a book launch and deliver a speech at an event hosted by the Institute of Diplomacy and Foreign Relations (IDFR).
He will return to Dili on June 17.
