David Del Rio, an actor in the American CBS series 'Matlock,' has been fired from the cast after being accused of sexually harassing actress Leah Lewis. Insiders revealed that as soon as the accusation was reported, he was immediately escorted out of Paramount Studios last week.
According to TMZ, CBS Studios confirmed that the main role he played, 'Billy Martinez,' would be written out of the show immediately. David appeared in about 20 episodes (including unaired ones). The 38-year-old David played a young lawyer at a well-known New York law firm in the first season of 'Matlock,' partnering with Leah's character 'Sarah Franklin.' The two shared many scenes together. After news of David's dismissal spread, Leah shared a photo with her mother on Instagram Stories, thanking everyone for their support during this time. She wrote: 'Mom is here, we're moving forward with love and strength. I'm being well taken care of. Thank you to everyone who has supported and cared for me during this time in any way.'
